Assassination Aftermath - 9/18/2025

This will be short. Yesterday was a week since a radicalized maniac assassinated Charlie Kirk in Utah. Long before that, I came to realize how much people on the left despise me and people like me. There is no way to cure hatred. I refuse to argue that I'm not the things I'm accused of being. I will say that I know Charlie Kirk wasn't any of those things, either.

The follow-on has disgusted me. I am praying for us all.

It is easier to call people like me and Charlie racists and haters than to have honest conversation about policies.
I hope, if nothing else, people who have never spent time listening except for soundbites will listen to Charlie talk in context and untailored. Selectively edited soundbites from deep in your echo chamber taken purposely out of context are nothing but pure propaganda.

If you think disagreement equals hatred, I can't help you.

The Vile and Revulsive Left's Evil - 9/13/2025

I'm going to try as best I can, and I'll likely fail as this flows out of me, to be as succinct as I can here.

The reaction from the left to the assassination of Charlie Kirk is the single most telling, vile, revulsive, phenomena I can remember. Thousands and thousands took to social media to do a combination of celebrating his death and justifying his assassination. Openly. Some even shared names of other prominent conservatives who it would be justified if they met the same fate. Satan is at work, fomenting evil.

Scumbag Celebrates at the Scene of the Assassination

The scariest thing about the comments I saw, and it is unanimous among all the people I spoke to about all this yesterday, is the number of teachers, professors, and other employees of academic institutions who led the charge with disgusting and evil posts. Yes, I used that word again: evil.

One example of THOUSANDS: Caitlyn Spencer works in a University Financial Office. She said "this jackass got what was coming and I'm happy he's rotting in hell now."
It's also scary knowing that for every voice we hear, there are hundreds, maybe thousands who agree, but who had the presence of mind not to expose the evil in their hearts and minds.

The assassin wasn't a right wing person. He was a radicalized leftist, radicalized by the evil influence he encountered in his college aged years. Where did he get it? I don't know, but I know.;

There is no right wing movement that needed or wanted Charlie Kirk dead. Know that. There is no right wing ANTIFA chapter. If you are believing that because you're seeing all about it on Bluesky or someplace else, you're fucking brainwashed, gullible, and stupid, that's all I can say.

Note that there were prayer vigils on campuses mourning Charlie's death. If a personality as significant on the left as Charlie is to the right had been killed, there would have been violence, fires, and destruction. You can't possibly convince me otherwise.

Prayers, not riots.
I thought about posting a series of links to Black, gay, and other people the left accuses Charlie Kirk (and me) of hating. I decided to go with just this one. There are a lot more testimonies like this going around. I promise you. This will have to suffice in the interest of brevity. If nothing else, please watch this:

The Damani Felder Testimony

If you didn't see Erika Kirk's video appearance last night, maybe you should. It's almost 17 minutes long.

Erica Kirk last night

Erika Kirk's incredible performance resulted in more disgusting and evil from the left.

Raven Samuelson wishes Erika Kirk dead, too, so her fatherless children can be raised by foster parents and properly educated to hate their parents. Evil. Evil. Evil. Evil times 1,000,000.

I will not surrender to evil. I know now, better than before, how dangerous to our way of life schools have become. I know now, better than before, how much the left hates us.

Charlie Kirk fought a peaceful war of words over ideas. He marched into the lion's den, and he lost his life doing so. I never donated to Turning Point, USA. I will today. I hope you do, too.

Donate TPUSA

The left claims to walk the moral high road. 48 hours plus of unveiled evil tells us different.

Me and Charlie, Je Suis Charlie, a Lament - 9/12/2025

I am in mourning. Not just for Charlie Kirk, but more so, how the reaction I see to his death from the left is a reflection in my own life. In recent years, I've seen friends disappear. Oftentimes, it's friends who I know come from the opposite side of the political aisle from myself. And I've known, in my heart, that it's because I post on here about my opinions, and express both my reaction to news and the people in it, and too, because I express my own opinions and proposals.

I don't agree with Charlie Kirk on everything. But I do agree with him a lot. Like me, but to some higher degree of energy and effectiveness, probably by multiples of hundreds of thousands or millions, Charlie, too, expressed his opinion. What has become clear, disturbingly, uncomfortably, and strikingly clear to me in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and the reaction to it from the left, is that my disagreement, like his, is characterized as hatred.

Thousands and thousands of people on the left, in these last 36 hours or whatever it's been, are celebrating the execution of a man who dared to disagree and to take his disagreement to the fortresses and not sole, but a primary source of progressive thought: universities. How provocative! How evil! How dastardly!

You see, our disagreement is interpreted as hatred. By "our" I mean mine and Charlie's, to mention just the two at hand. When I say "Boys and men do not belong in girl's bathrooms," "men don't belong in women's sports," "there are only two genders," and that "teenage genital mutilation is wrong in our morality and society." I become labeled a trans-phobe, someone who hates or fears trans-people. When I say that "DEI and reparations are a mistake in our society," I'm a racist. And when I say "unchecked, insane immigration policies will undermine and destroy American culture as we know it," I am a xenophobe who hates brown people. I understand, the left has deemed all these issues are firmly, fully, and fnally decided and continued disagreement from me or Charlie counters goodness and morality. God forbid we articulate these opinions and say our opinions are predicated on our faith, this is even worse!

I have seen many, many mischaracterizations of things Charlie said. I think everything and more like what's in the preceding paragraph becomes how and why it's mischaracterized. Evils like trans, homo, xeno phobias and racism don't warrant or deserve a fair hearing, do they? I mean, they're already fully understood to be evils. Why would such provocative and destructive dialog warrant attention?

I've watched friends disappear from my life, largely since Trump was elected. Since the election of 2016 coincided with my retirement, maybe some of that is just the nature of retiring. On the other hand, the politics of the people who've disappeared is overwhelmingly left of center. I have to wonder, were I a prominent voice like Charlie Kirk, would they be secretly celebrating my assassination, too? A stretch? I don't think so. Thousands and thousands of people on the left are openly celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The iceberg theory applies here, there is way more ice underwater that you can't see, than that which is visible above the water's surface. For every celebrant I see, there are hundreds and thousands I don't see. Further, the justifications, veiled and thinly veiled or openly shared, to explain why Charlie's death makes sense to them, informs me: I am on the evil side of the ledger as far as they're concerned. It is disturbing and painful to accept that, but I do.

Charlie Kirk would want me to continue to express myself and to stay engaged. I will have to find a way forward, knowing how friends and former friends judge me, hate me, and why they excommunicated me from their lives, perhaps secretly or not so secretly wishing me dead, too.

I wish I could say, "I don't give a fuck," but I do.

Iryna Zarutska, Decarlos Brown, and the Politics of Race in 2025 - 9/10/2025

I can't unsee this, no matter how I try.

Decarlos Brown, even though I don't think Row 2, 3rd one is him, this collage is a testament to FAILURE.

$3.3 MILLION from left-wing NGO The MacArthur Foundation went to Mecklenburg County to “reduce the jail population”, the very county that released career criminal DeCarlos Brown 14 times.

There's a pendulum of society, culture, and policy in most things. Today, I want to talk about the politics of race in modern day America, and, spoiler, to assert the pendulum has swung too far. It is absolutely the fault of the progressive left, and organizations like The MacArthur Foundation that the pendulum has swung so far, unacceptably and absolutely unjustifiably to a point where a mentally insane, murderous career criminal like Decarlos Brown is free, largely because he's Black and there's too many Black people in prison. I suggest there are only 3 ways to reduce the number of Black people in jail. Two of them are unacceptable. Here goes:

1) Career violent criminals (no matter what color they are), at some certain point, swiftly eliminated via the death penalty. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

2) Raise the threshold for incarceration to some insanely high level, putting career and insane, violent criminals on the street instead of in jail. This is what we have now in many jurisdictions across America. This is what we have in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. This is what leftist NGOs like The MacArthur Foundation are working toward. This is why Iryna Zarutska is dead. We can't lock up all the violent criminals, there's too many of them. What? YGBSM.

3) (The only acceptable solution, in my opinion.) Reduce the incidence or frequency and the number of instances of violent crime in the Black community. I do not know how to do this. Any ideas I might have, that anyone might have for that matter, will be opposed as racist and unacceptable. Yes, there are too many Black people in jail. Yes, the system has been historically harder on Black people in the criminal justice world.

As to #3, above, you don't want to hear this, but tough shit, here it is: Start with single-parent, fatherless households. Too many heroic Black women (and White women with bi-racial children) are raising their kids on their own. This is true in the White community, too, but the point of this post is reducing the numbers of incarcerated Black people. Next, is there a religious and spiritual void. Religion is not a cure-all, nor a solution, but being raised with and developing a faith is undeniably a way to reduce, I didn't say eliminate, instances of criminal behavior. Three, schools need to educate: reading, writing, and arithmetic. Academic standards are unacceptably low in many parts of our country, especially in our cities. There may be 1,000,000 reasons and justifications for that. IDGAF. A kid either reads at grade level, does math at grade level, or they don't.

Switching gears, only slightly. If you think I'm being racist because I think progressive policies are failing society in this regard, you are a huge part of the problem. You're trying to make Black crime levels an Emperor's New Clothes issue, where nobody is allowed to say it, lest they suffer accusations of racism.

Imagine if Miss Zarutska was Black and Mr. Brown was White. Every single thing about this case would be entirely different. Everything. And that's wrong.

Finding fairness and justice is important. Making our country unsafe is not a correction to those injustices, not by a long-shot. I'm not a big fan of the death penalty, but damned if Decarlos Brown don't deserve it. IDGAF if he's mentally ill. I really don't. Is he curable? Is he capable of being rehabilitated? Is he capable of remorse? I don't think so.

If the Emperor won't allow us to talk about the cultural and societal reasons Black prison populations are too high, and we don't want the death penalty, and we can't keep letting career, violent criminals loose, what to do? We'd better build much larger prisons and fill them with violent felons. Why? Because otherwise, a fourth option I didn't list, above, will come to be, all by itself:

Vigilantism. If our government won't protect its people, those people protect themselves.

A final thought. I saw a good number of posts questioning other riders of the Charlotte light rail. Why didn't they step up and step in? I can explain in two words: Daniel Penny. How much more about it can I say? Progressive prosecutors and leftist political activists would make any, especially any White good Samaritan, out to be the bad guy.

Part of the Yahoo headline about the Daniel Penny / Jordan Neely story:

"Daniel Penny, who choked a homeless man to death"

Decarlos Brown was homeless with a long record of menacing, too. Just sayin'.

Encountering a TDS Sufferer Suffering in FL - 9/7/2025

I accompanied my mom for a medical test the other day. While we were in the waiting area, a very opinionated and chatty woman of 88 years, a retired NYC teacher, opined about any number of things. Clearly, she was a left of center blue voter, a customer of all her news from the deep blue echo chamber of the NY Times, CBS, ABC, NBC, and CNN, probably with a little New Yorker, the Atlantic, and NPR thrown in for good measure. I behaved myself. She's entitled to her opinion. I even went as far as keeping my mouth shut when she told us she hates Florida, "I hate it here." In the context of the rest of her comments, it was clearly a political statement.

Governor Ron DeSantis

"Come back home to NY, where your socialist Democrat heart longs to be!"
I know there are many deep blue, TDS sufferers who are miserable here or who won't move here because Florida is so awful. Governor DeSantis has done a great job, and as cities and states to our north continue to evolve further and further toward the progressive and socialist left, more and more moderate and conservative voters have fled here. If I wasn't being polite, I'd have told the old gal, "Move back to NY and be happy." I didn't. I kept my mouth shut. Anyone who believes the NY Times and still deceptively edited television like CBS 60 Minutes doesn't give two shits about my opinion, nor do I give even one shit about hers.

A parting note: Blowing up Venezuelan narco-terrorists is what I voted for. They're not criminals who we wait to arrive and hope to catch selling their drugs. They're an organized group from abroad bringing death to the USA. At this point, who among us doesn't know or know of a family, if not your own, which has lost someone to fentanyl? Sending these terrorists to Davey Jones' locker is the right choice.

Can you imagine it, there are people who hate Trump more than they hate these guys? These people think they are righteous and good. What they are is Trump Deranged.
