A Good Man in the Brig and A Puppet in the Oval - 9-29-2021

It would be kinda fun to see the President, Secretary of Defense, and top military brass coming unwound the way they did if not for the fact that the USMC LtCol who is the guy told us the truth about the Afghanistan is in the brig awaiting his court marshal. Was he out of order for speaking (the truth) out of turn? Absolutely. He's already lost his command, resigned his commission and lost his military retirement, and been given psychological evaluations.

You know how it is. Telling the truth is such a bad thing in a liar's administration like this one. Well, honestly, I'm not 100% sure it's a liar's administration as much as an administration that operates in an alternative reality. A bunch of useless Harvard and Yale policy wonks who've never lived and worked outside the bubble of their political circles keep pulling Puppet Biden's, oops, President Biden's strings. And Joe says what they tell him, regardless of how silly and ridiculous it makes him look.

I get there are consequences, and that LtCol Scheller was out of turn with his remarks. I have no problem with him losing his command and being processed out. But the fact he's in the brig, which is 'jail' for you civilian types, and the liar-puppet in chief and his military leaders are still not accepting blame/responsibility for the extremely poorly executed withdrawal from Afghanistan, and that the Harvard and Yale crowd pulling the puppet's strings on the economy and everything else aren't under a microscope is mind boggling. I don't expect that, as Democrats in Congress hold the gavels these days, and they live for the lousy policies of the Harvard and Yale Biden puppeteers.

And one last thought: I have as little regard for Jen Psaki as any Democrat ever had for any of Trump's spokespersons. Surely she has a tough job making excuses for this lying bunch. But her explanations on the economy and on everything else show how far out of touch with reality she and the rest of the clown's puppeteers truly are. She's probably having coffee with some Harvard puke, talking 'policy' right now. Because it ain't Joe informing her of the details, I guarantee you that!

CCP Virus thoughts from Matty P:

I wear a mask sometimes when I absolutely don't have to. I don't really believe in it, but if the poor bastards working at Kroger and Walmart have to wear it and if the little old lady who's scared shitless because media has convinced her that people who don't wear them will kill her feel a little better about things if I wear one, I'll do it. I don't really believe the masks do much except reduce the dispersion of germs when a person with the virus sneezes, but only if that person happens to be wearing one. The rest of us? I'm kind of a "chain link fence mosquito guy".

I got the vaccine (moderna) and when we get back to Florida next week I'll seek and get the booster as soon as I can. I was very disappointed when I learned that people with the vax can still catch and spread the CCP Virus, but it does seem that hospitalizations, ICU patients, and fatalities are disproportionately tallying with unvaccinated people. Another thought: as the number of vaccinated people continues to climb, the percentage of cases will skew higher and higher toward us vaccinated people. This makes total sense. But from the very beginning, long before there was a vaccine, the important number for me has never been total cases or positives, it's been the numbers of very sick people and fatalities. Total cases has and continues to be a shock and awe statistic, but with only a small percentage of cases resulting in serious illness and death, it's simply NOT the statistic that concerns me. But people ARE getting very sick and dying, a small but VERY REAL percentage.

I am taking extra Zinc, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D daily. They're reported to help immune systems in general, and they're thought by many to be helpful in thwarting the CCP Virus. Are they? I don't know, but I'm at least as confident in them as I am in wearing masks, so I take them.

I know of more people who caught CCP Virus in 2021 than I did in 2020, and they're a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated people. One (age 67) said he was quite sick. He told me he showed his first symptoms just 6 days after he got the J&J jab. How's that for bad timing? He might have caught it at his vaccination place! Most people seem to recover in a week and a half to two weeks, whether they're vaccinated or not. That's the good news. The bad news is some people get really sick and die, and it would seem to be almost random. For 20+ guys it's no big deal, then someone seemingly in good shape gets it and gets deathly ill.

I still don't trust the government or big pharma. Yes, great things have been done, but I don't for one second believe that big pharma's motivations are purely altruistic. Money, baby, they're in it for the money. So inexpensive or common treatments will always be scoffed at in favor of super expensive treatments supported by super expensive research and testing. Big pharma and their elected and broadcast media bought and paid for puppets will always use every resource to undermine and destroy the reputation of treatments that don't cha-ching big pharma's cash registers. Sadly, big tech and social media companies are fully on board with big pharma's self-helping propaganda.

 

It's funny having a place in Louisville, Kentucky and another in Florida. No doubt Louisville has been more restrictive on its individuals and businesses. Again and again I see places either closed or running a skeleton crew because they either don't have the business, or more commonly that they can't find workers. Just yesterday I saw the O'Charley's off Breckinridge is closed. And the Book-A-Million I was in yesterday (yes, I was looking at books again) in that same area had all its normal cash registers closed. I paid for my books at the little Joe Muggs cafe they have inside. Florida Governor DeSantis was mocked and derided by lefties and super political blue staters, but if you ask me, he did the right thing in protecting the Florida economy. If people are scared and worried they'll catch CCP Virus at a store or restaurant, stay the fuck home, don't close the place. At some point these issues are personal choices. And, by the way, many states and municipalities were far too slow to cut off the extra unemployment money. If the state is open and the restrictions are lifted, people need to get their asses back to work or live with the financial consequences of their personal choice not to.

Last thought: any time I'm around a sizable group of people, as has been the case several times this month, I take my temperature and check my blood oxygen on a very regular basis, at least daily for at least a week. Hopefully if I am infected, I will see it coming and can reduce the chances of spreading it by quarantining myself early.

 

Now, live your lives. Don't be stupid. Don't be scared, either. You don't want the vaccine and you have your good reasons? I respect that. I disagree but it's your choice. You don't like wearing, or perhaps you always wear a mask? That's your choice, too. You don't want to go into this store or that one because they require a mask? Don't go in. You prefer in a place that requires masks because the masks make you feel safer? Put that fucker on and patronize the place. Spend all you got there. It's your choice, your money. But let's quit judging each other over our choices. Seek understanding. Except those of you who are wearing your masks while driving alone in your cars or while riding your bikes in the park. You fuckers are dumb. Really dumb.

3/3/2021 - Back From Self-Imposed Exile

 

 

Fuck the left. I mean, seriously. I never advocated violence or an insurgency, or any other violent or destructive act. In 2020 I watched Antifa and Black Lives Matter riot almost 300 different times in cities across the country. I not only never rioted, I never attended any rally or gathering that had any violence of any kind. But the Liberal leftist scumbags of Twitter purged me along with many, many other outspoken conservatives. See, being and outspoken conservative was deemed dangerous and harmful by a bunch of lunatic, leftist, scumbag, fascists in Silicone Valley.

Lemme tell you how I think they got me. There was a Mitt Romney parody account. And fake Mitt says (in a tweet), What would you like to say to me? Remember, it is NOT Mitt, it is a clearly labeled parody account. My reply was "Eat shit and die! LOL" The LOL was included. First I was suspended, I deleted the offending tweet, was reinstated, but in the purge I was subsequently permanently banned for it. Voices like mine, deemed dangerous by "who the fuck appointed you arbiters of speech" scumbags in California. The worst part is Twitter was the primary outlet for my blog posts. Secondary was Parler, but the lefties squashed Parler, too. But I digress. Maybe not, as Twitter is the left and that's what I'm ranting against.

I'm not just mad at Twitter and the left, though. I am truly struggling with my relationship with the GOP. The special election for two Senate seats in GA in January illustrates my difference with the GOP elite establishment perfectly. Their contention is that Trump caused those seats to be lost because he was contesting the results of the November election. Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP scumbag insiders would like you to believe that. Bullshit. Mitch threw the Senate majority to the Democrats by blocking Trump's $2000 stimulus in favor of $600. Even if I stipulate that the $2000 was a bad idea, and contrary to conservative principle, which I think it was, it was a loser politically. A total loser. And the funny thing is, by undermining Trump's desired $2000, he cost the seats, the Democrats won the majority and they're going to do $2000 anyway. Well, $1400, as we already got $600 of it. I blame Mitch for all that. Screw him.

Then, after the sham of a second impeachment, Mitch made comments which signaled to me he was trying to kill any future political aspirations Trump might have. I'm not completely sold on Trump 2024, but I am 100% sure I will NOT support GOP establishment 2024. Not a chance. I will no longer contribute to the RNC in any way. If I find a GOP candidate worthy of my financial support, I will either find a way to support him or her directly and cut the RNC out completely, or I won't contribute at all. If there's a chance one cent of my money will go to McConnell, Romney, etc., I'll keep it on my wallet. Fuck them.

One last thing in this first rant back from a short hiatus. President Joe Biden is a terrible president and was a really bad choice. He is a shell of his former self (whose policies I didn't like in his prime), controlled by special interests, foreign interests, and the power wielded by the leftist scum who control the Democratic Party in 2021.

1/13/2021 Good Ol' Matty P's Pissed

Well, friends. They've impeached him again. I'm not sure that what I have to say tonight will be well thought out, convincing, or even coherent. Bottom line is, I'm pissed and I'm going to blow off a little steam here, and about a bunch of stuff.

On Jan. 6, 2021 the Electoral College elected Joe Biden 46th President og the USA. Rioters desecrated the US Capital in a display of recklessness and stupidity.

So, first up, the election, it's aftermath, and the riot in Washington, D.C. on January 6th. The whole goddamned election didn't feel right to me. The way they stopped counting, the vote swapping, the vote dumps, the whole thing smelled fishy to me. Still does. But the powers that be stood their ground, and none of the legal contests challenging the outcome were successful. Cheating may have happened, but it wasn't proven, END OF STORY. Be pissed off about it, same as me? Great.

President Trump made the biggest blunder of his presidency by encouraging people to show up in D.C. on January 6th, the day the Electoral College meets to elect the president. Had he called for the assembly on the 4th or even the 5th, to show solidarity and support for a full airing of facts related to the election, that would have been one thing. But by calling for it on the 6th, he blundered. Badly. Many of you may disagree with that. That's OK. But I don't think you're looking at the whole scenario and all its ramifications. Electoral College Day isn't a day, per se, not like Election Day or Inauguration Day. But what unfolds on Electoral College Day is at the core of our republic's democratic principles. When I heard that he called for people to converge on D.C. on the 6th to "Stop the Steal" my immediate thought, long before the events of the 6th, was: "Nothing good can come from it." I wasn't wrong. And listen up, lefty douchebags: Trump blundered and nothing good can come from it was my own read on it. But he didn't call for what happened to happen. No he didn't. Shut the fuck up with that bullshit. Trump should have conceded no later than Jan 4thn or 5th. And if he's sitting on all this evidence, should have released it.

And you on the right: yes, there WERE reports of a busload, maybe more Antifa scumbags showing up to cause trouble in Trump supporter's names. But the people inside the Capital building, including the dead USAF veteran from CA were Trump supporters. Pointing out that other groups were there is a deflection and it doesn't sit well with me. Legitimate concerns about the election were damaged and undermined because of a relatively tiny group of carried away people who engaged in unacceptable, criminal, terroristic behavior.

Silicone Valley, they're next up in my ire. What a bunch of liberal pricks. We've allowed them too much influence over our public discourse, too much power over events, and too much political power. It's our fault. It's not a First Amendment issue. The First Amendment prohibits the US Government from restricting free speech. If you don't know that, wake the fuck up! But because it's not a First Amendment issue does NOT make Silicone Valley the good guys. They kicked conservatives off their platforms left and right after the 6th, including yours truly. Yeah, I made a snide remark to a Mitt Romney Parody account on twitter, "Eat shit and die, RINO! Ha ha". There's no way what I was doing in replying thusly to A PARODY ACCOUNT was inciting or encouraging violence. But the micro-dick soy boys and girls of Silicone Valley have the power to judge what is and what isn't, and POOF! Matty P's gone.

Speaking of RINOs, I'm done with the GOP. They've proven themselves to globalist, elitist, establishment, war hawking, concessionary scum again and again and especially during the Trump presidency. Rumors that McConnell supports impeachment? Ten Republicans vote to impeach? Ronna McDaniel (some kind of kin to Mitt Romney) re-elected as Chair of the party? I'm done with the GOP. Done with them.

And then there are the Democrats. They don't represent me in any way shape of form at all and they don't care. I'm not a constituent, I'm their enemy. I can't even. Impeaching Trump with 7 days left? Are you fucking kidding me? Unity my aching ass. Unity. Fuck you and your fucking unity, Joe. Go fuck yourself you fucking senile, corrupt, cheated to elect this douchebag, plagiarist, hair sniffing, piece of shit. Unity my fucking ass. This was a shot at me and everyone like me. I know it's true. You know it's true. Everybody knows it's true. So don't expect me to be nice or complimentary or open to these fucks. Not my president? No. He's my president. We elected a fucking corrupt moron because you fucking assholes hate Trump so fucking much. And you don't give two shits if he cheated to do it, long as Trump's gone. And this stupid impeachent is simply to try and forestall a 2024 comeback.

12/26/2020 - The Boogie Man

When I was a kid I remember people talked about the boogie man. This was before K.C. and the Sunshine Band sang the song that de-mystified the poor bastard. Before that it as, "What're ya, 'fraid of the boogie man or something?"

Well, nowadays, everything people don't like is vilified, amplified, and emphasized. One of the things whack jobs from the left do is to blame things they don't agree with, don't understand, or don't like on "white supremacy". And while the boogie man was a figment of imagination and lore, I concede there is such a thing as white supremacy. But I will not concede that it's a large and rampant problem. The white supremacist scumbags are out there, but they're few, far between, way out of the mainstream, and a marginalized few losers. 

What brought this on this morning? It was this:

This dumbass, Jen Bokoff, alleges that the greeting "Merry Christmas" is "white supremacy at work". I get that this bitch probably doesn't believe in Jesus, and I'm fine with that. But by calling the "Merry Christmas" greeting white supremacy, the Bokoff jerkoff does two things: first, she's calling shit that ain't white supremacy to be so, and in doing so marginalizes real claims of same. And secondly, she's showing her anti-Christian prejudice, When people talk about a war on Christmas, many dismiss it out of hand. And granted, in terms of war, this offensive is truly weak sauce, a mosquito bite is a more effective weapon in that war than this one is, but it's wrapped up in the same nonsense.

Rather than to gaff off Ms. Bokoff the Jerkoff for her weak sauce, I posted what started this rant off.

12/19/2020 - The Mask and the Vaccine

 

If I gotta wear a mask, I like this one.

 

The night before last I posed a question on my Facebook. I was asking for input on wearing of masks AFTER one has been administered the vaccine. And as one might expect, there was some of the usual political back and forth that gets us nowhere and just delineates where people have their heels dug in, so to speak. The answer from a post-vaccine mask advocate I found most honest was, paraphrasing, that we should wear them for a few more months so that other people feel safer when they're out by seeing us in masks. It's funny, because when I first started wearing the mask, I had my doubts about wearing it, but felt that if by doing so at a minimum the people around me felt safer, I wasn't going to fight the issue. Especially, in as much as I wasn't confident in taking either side of that debate myself and feeling fully justified in taking it.

But as I thought about it, some of what has transpired since the pandemic started began to bother me. First it was 15 days to flatten the curve. That was about 9 month ago now. And in the interim, we've had closures, openings, re-closures, etc. And as much as I am NOT a denier, none of that stuff, I've never been fully sold on the arguments for or against any of the measures. My gut has told me from the start, and still tells me, that they really don't know, and that they're really playing it by ear and learning as they go... as we go. But one thing that has been held out again and again, we have ALL heard it, is, "Just until there's a vaccine." And now the goal posts have moved again. Now it's, "Now that there's a vaccine, just a few more months." Jeeze!

Yesterday I had a minor issue I needed looked at by an eye doctor. They were nice and got me right in. The technician was very nice. In making small talk, when I took my eyeglasses off, I said that they were all fogged up because of my mask anyway. And I said I was lucky I'm retired and didn't have to wear it day in and day out like she and other people working in so many jobs do. I told her that I thought once I get the vaccine that I won't have to wear it anymore, but now I'm hearing maybe a few more months AFTER we get vaccinated, so that people aren't scared. And she said, "Once we get  the vaccine, I'm not wearing the mask. If they're scared to be around me after I've been vaccinated because I'm not wearing a mask, they just need to stay home." I think those were her exact words. You know what? She's 100% right.

If she's not right, then what the fuck is the vaccine for, anyway? I'm not saying I won't wear a mask. I'm not saying I won't get the vaccine. But what the fuck? Does the shit work or not? Feels like this last moving of the goal posts is a bit to far, taking us out of field goal range. I'm starting to think some people have their heels dug in so far on the mask issue, on BOTH sides, that now that it's about time to get rid of them, now we have the next reason not to.

I have not and will not fight the mask until I get the vaccine. And as I said, that's even though I don't have 100% confidence in them. Hell, my confidence in them is in the 50-60% range, which I concede is better than nothing. But if I don't have the virus, and after I get vaccinated so I won't get the virus, I don't need a mask and you don't need me to have one, either. If you want me to wear one I don't need for either you nor me just because you're scared, then I don't need a mask. You just need to stay the fuck home.

12/17/2020 - Coronavirus and Our Holidays

 

Not our tree, just a nice Christmas tree.

 

Later on this morning I'll be pulling our Christmas tree and all of our decorations from storage. There's some in a little storage locker in the basement, and the rest is in the guest room closet. And while we'll do our best to make the most of Christmas, 2020, I have to say I've noticed I don't have nearly the same excitement as in years past. Surely we'll see our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. And we may see, within the stinking stupid CCP Virus rules, a couple of dear friends. But it won't be a whirlwind of socializing and activity like other Christmas seasons. I'm tempted to say, "It sucks," but Christmas is supposed to be about the birth of a child, Jesus, Son of God and our Savior. Coronavirus doesn't change that at all. But what all is different this year?

Masks. Social distancing. Closures and restrictions. Can't visit sick friends in hospitals. People sick with the virus. This Christmas will be challenging. Whatever. We're all challenged now and again, right? It's just not usually all of us at once like this year.

Shopping at the malls, and target, and this place and that. Nope. Not this year. Groceries and necessities only

OK, no malls and stuff. Shopping online. With the malls closed, online shopping is a bad idea, if you ask me. The time would have been a week, maybe two weeks or more ago. I'm not feeling good about my chances of getting stuff out and getting it, or having someone else get it on time. Nope.

Restaurants! Nah. Restrictions. Masks. Cold weather means inside dining. Not so much. Sadder for restaurant employees and owners than me, but that's the truth. Take out? Probably so, but not for large gatherings. Not this year.

Christmas parties! I'm retired, so the office party is a thing of the past. People aren't doing house parties. There ain't shit for Christmas parties this year, probably not much of any anywhere you might be.

Church? I'm not good at getting to church like I should anymore. That's a whole separate topic. But at Christmas we've been known to attend worship with our friends. Watching it live streamed or delivered as a giant Zoom conference? Not as much. So I don't see church in our plans.

So here's what we are going to do: we're going to put up the tree and put out our nativity set. We're going to start to listen to holiday music. Christmas carols, Santa songs, Winter Wonderland, all that stuff. Caroline's going to make some cookies. Maybe a drive or two to look at some awesome Christmas decorations. They're out there. Some people went bonkers with it I bet, with the pandemic going on. Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners with the kids and exchanging gifts with them... and especially with my little Cutie-Pie! And on Christmas morning, we'll take a ride out to the Veteran's Cemetery in Radcliffe, and salute my father in law and all the other veterans spending an eternity of Christmas's there. And though they lay many miles away, I'll think of all my other family, now gone from this world. What better day than Christmas to think of them? The Redeemer's birthday.

Nope. It won't be a normal Christmas in many ways. But it is still Christmas. Make the best of it you can, and we will, too.
