Illegal Immigration, Our National Disgrace - 9/8/2023

First off, let me go on the record. I don't hate immigrants. But we have an immigration crisis. I lay the foundation of the problem on Congress. All of them. It is their job to write our laws. It is their job to allocate funds. Our immigration laws need a major overhaul, and our immigration infrastructure needs a complete and total upgrade: everything from border security to immigration courts, and all points in between. Republicans and Democrats alike share in the shame and embarrassment, except they're too shameless to let that make them take action. Kinda makes you think they all like it this way.

It's NOT all their fault, but I'm not letting Democrats and the current hapless and incompetent  Administration off the hook, though.

A sanctuary sidewalk in New York.

New York State and City have long called themselves a sanctuary for illegal immigrants. You know, the tired, poor, and hungry. Except now they don't know where these people are going to sleep, as shelters are full, hotels confiscated for use as shelters are full, too. Governor Hochul and Mayor Adams are urging the Federal Government to fast track work authorizations for illegal immigrants. According to the NY Post, the price tag could reach 12 billion in 2025. A Post article today says that the city currently has 60,000 migrants "in it's care". Where does the food to feed that many hungry people come from.

The DOJ is suing SpaceX for being unfair by not hiring illegal immigrants and asylum seekers. YGBSM!
But no worries. The Biden Administration is helping out. Yep. The Biden DOJ is suing Elon Musk' SpaceX because their hiring policies are unfair toward asylum seekers and immigrants. Never mind the juicy little fact that many DOJ positions require citizenship as a pre-condition of employment. And never mind the whole, pesky security clearance thing SpaceX has to comply with for much of its US Government contract work. What the Biden Administration is doing is harassing Musk because he has had the gall and audacity to make public the DOJ, FBI, and CIA's manipulation of social media. They're going to help out migrants by getting them jobs as rocket scientists. You gotta be shitting me!

River barrier on the Rio Grande intended to slow the tide of illegal immigration.
But hey, that's not all the US Government is doing. Oh, no. They ordered Texans to take down floating barriers that had been put into the Rio Grande to stop people from illegally crossing the border via the river. How dare Texans take matters in their own hands to stop the flow of people illegally entering the USA! Too fucking bad if New York City's immigrant problems are small in comparison to Texas' problems. Too fucking bad. Governor Abbott embarrassed the Biden Administration and the duplicity and dishonesty of the self-declared sanctuary cities by shipping immigrants to their doorways straight away. Let's not forget, the Biden Administration was shipping immigrants to all over our country in the dark of night BEFORE Governor Abbott and Governor DeSantis had the nerve to do it publicly.

If ankle bracelets get some of the 70% who no-show at hearings to show up, great. If it's to make sure they stay in Texas? Not as much.
Yesterday I heard a topper of all toppers. I don't know if it is verified, but in my opinion, knowing this Administration, and knowing the absolute hatred Blue Staters have for us unwashed Red Staters, I have to believe it's more than a distinct possibility. What I read, is that the Biden Administration is looking at using criminal style ankle bracelets to track movement of illegal immigrants (which in and of itself, I don't have near as big a problem with), and in conjunction with the ankle bracelets, restricting illegals to stay in Texas (or whichever of the four border states we have with Mexico). So hell no to Texas for trying to stop the inflow of illegals, but hey, New York has a lot of Blue voters, and they're not happy, so fuck you Texas and fuck you Governor Abbott, you'll take all who want to come across, and you'll keep them.

We all need water, right? You say you're thirsty? Here ya go. Plenty of water for you. Drink up.
Immigration is, above all the other nonsense, our biggest national disgrace. We DO need immigrants. Our country WAS founded by immigrants who had dreams of a better life. But if immigrants were water, we need water from our hose for the garden, in our sinks for cooking and washing, and from our faucets for drinking. We need water. We need immigrants. Floods are water too. Tsunamis are water. A hurricane is wind and water. Do you want 6 feet of water in your home? Of course not. Do you want your home destroyed by a Tsunami? Do you know what I've learned regarding hurricanes in Florida? It's a cliche, but it's true. Hide from wind, but run from water. It's the water from a hurricane that's most dangerous.

Yes, we need water. We need immigrants, too. Floods, tsunamis, and hurricanes, whether they're the water kind or the illegal immigrant kind? Not nearly as much. By the way, isn't Vice President Harris in charge of this stuff? WTF?

Heavy Hands and Kid Gloves - 8/31/2023

I have never participated in a protest in my life. When there was talk of going to D.C. on January 6, 2021 to protest what I thought to have been highly irregular activities in the just past November Presidential Election, I immediately thought, not a good idea. Nothing good will come from it.

All that being absolutely true in my case, I continue to be disturbed at the federal criminal justice system's actions in the matter.

First off, Washington D.C. is one of, if not the single most overwhelmingly blue cities in the country. You couple a large population of minorities whose political affiliation is overwhelmingly Democratic, with a massive number of Federal Government employees, also overwhelmingly affiliated with the Democratic party, and there is no way to find an impartial jury. None. Nope. Can't be done. Why would that matter?
Because politics in 2021, 2022, 2023, and surely 2024 has become a pure Rorschach Test. We live in echo chambers. We have become indoctrinated to think the absolute worst of people who think differently from ourselves politically. Hillary Clinton called us deplorables: racist, homophobic, islamaphobic, xenophobes. Biden called MAGA semi-fascists. Many on the left don't want to say it out loud, but there is no doubt that the rhetoric in recent years has people seeing and believing the absolute worst in people. Every one of the protestors (even some people who weren't in D.C. on Jan 6th at all!) is going to have the book thrown at them. The Judge in the Donald Trump case is going to throw the book at him. Why? I'll tell you why.

Because they believe the absolute worst about Trump. About Trump supporters. There is no benefit of the doubt. There is no presumption of innocence. There is no consideration for anything at all. What there is is hatred and vengeance. Yes. Hatred and vengeance. Proud Boys Joe Biggs got 17 years today. He helped take down the fence that separated the police from the protesters. Maybe that's the right sentence based on his situation. It seems like a lot to me, more than warranted. But you go on social media, where Democrats feel comfortable to speak openly, and it is nearly unanimous: the sentence was too light.

I think we are being taught a lesson. These protesters are being made an example: if and when you come to that think we fucked you over by stealing the next election, you'd better not dare come here and protest. We will gulag and stockade your smelly Walmart shopping gun toting asses until your grand and great grandchildren are on Medicare.

I saw the BLM riots that preceded the election. I saw the Antifa violence. President Trump whisked to his secure location by Secret Service. Fires in D.C. Federal courthouses on the west coast under seige by angry, violent mobs of protesters. I saw protesters illegally camp out outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices. In my eyes that stuff was all just as wrong and just as punishable as what many, many minor non conspirators, caught up in the moment are having done to them.

I am not condoning anyone interfering with official government business. But I am able to see clearly an extremely heavy hand being wielded on the one hand, and the extreme kid gloves on the other.

None of what happened, and none of what is happening, gives me greater confidence in our government, trust in the fairness and justice in Federal law enforcement, belief in our elections, or hope for our country. But honestly, I am afraid to go to Washington to express my concerns in protest as protected by the First Amendment of our beloved (at least by some of us) US Constitution. Nope, because I know, Constitution be damned, my innocence of crimes damned as well, that I'll wind up in gulagged and stockaded, made an example of in the finest tradition of Stalin, Mao, and the rest of the inhuman totalitarian bullies of the last 100 or so years.

Pronouns - 7/17/2023

Just a quick hitter on pronouns this morning. I was scrolling on Twitter, and a mother was complaining that she took her child to a doctor's office, and the receptionist had the audacity to refer the the child as "she" and "her" rather than "they" or "them". She said she corrected the receptionist, but the receptionist kept using she and her. What audacity that receptionist has!

All at once "they" and "them" as preferred pronouns bugged me. Why? Well, as I thought about it I realized I thought they and them are plurals. Was the mother saying the child has multiple personalities? Does the child have multiple identities? Does the child identify as a group rather than a singular person. Scratching my increasingly bald head, I decided I need to look it up.

Lo and behold, the definitions have been updated. No longer are these words defined as plural to refer to either unspecified persons or a group of persons. The definitions have been modified to include use as pronouns for non-binary persons who don't feel "he" or him", nor "she" or "her" are an accurate reflection of who they perceive themselves to be. Non-binary meaning there have been traditionally only two choices, and neither of them fits a person's self awareness.

The most fun part of it is the mother making the receptionist out to be some kind of a bad person. When the kid gets into the room with the doctor is the doctor not supposed to know which anatomical features he or she will be examining. "I see 'they' have no penis, would 'they' like me to check 'their' PSA and give 'them' a prostate exam anyway?" "Would 'they' like a mammogram, or shall I pretend those aren't breasts?" These are the same fucking people who tell us to 'trust the science'.

While I'm on this rant... I went into the Whole Foods across the street Saturday to do an Amazon return. On the way in I saw a nearly androgynous looking person, presumably a woman, with green and blue hair, multiple face piercings, ear gauges, and an unusual and striking combination of colors and patterns in her clothing. I didn't have an issue with any of that. But it did strike me that this person, dare I say 'she', worked really hard to not look like her natural self, and also dressed so that people like me would notice and say, "What?"

Why in the fuck are so many people trying so hard to be something other than what they are? Instead of "being their best 'me'," what I see is people trying to be something they're not and then get mad at us if we think of them as what our eyes see.

I'm glad I'm retired and don't have to deal with this bullshit in an employment situation. I really am. If I was starting a company now, I would be open to hiring all races. All religions. Gay and lesbian people. Transgenders, too. Seriously. But you know who I wouldn't hire? People with pronouns in their bio. People with pronouns in their bio aren't looking for fair and equal treatment. They're looking for a fight, a slight, an argument, or a transgression to call out for the evil they see it as. I'm going to be facing an EEOC complaint from an employee because some other employee with big tits and a beard came in for a job and I didn't know how to address them? Nah. If you've got pronouns in your bio, I will treat everyone with dignity and respect, fairness and honesty, and when I slip up, suddenly you will turn someone's poor performance in the workplace around to me as the problem. Nope. Pronouns are a red flag, a signal that there's trouble ahead, trouble that I would avoid.

And 'they' and 'them' are plural. Always were. Still are.

The Frustrating, Self-Destructive GOP - 7/15/2023

The GOP is a disaster right now. Liberals, Progressives, and Democrats ought to be quite happy with the situation. I divide the GOP into 4 groups. There is some overlap between some of the four, but the nature of them is such that there is also some areas of total separation.

First, you've got the Trump, only Trump, nobody but Trump, "We're staying home if it ain't Trump." These people would rather lose with Trump than look at the election from any other lens. To them, all other GOP candidates are the same as President Joe Biden.

Then you've got the "It don't matter anyway. The whole system is rigged and our votes are meaningless." These folks cannot believe Joe Biden got 81,000,000 votes, no way, no how. It is kinda hard to believe, ain't it. Most of these folks are also Trump supporters. There is a large overlap with the first group.

The third group likes Trump and will vote for him if he's nominated, but would prefer someone else, someone new. I am in this group. We are more interested in winning and defeating Biden than we are loyal to Trump. I don't owe Trump loyalty. I appreciate what he did for us, what he sacrificed for us, and I recognize how badly the deep state and establishment treated him. But this ain't a religion and I didn't swear an oath.

Then finally, you've got a fourth group, the never-Trump, traditional GOP globalist, establishment people. They'd rather see a Democrat win than Trump. Some, like the Lincoln Project people, are vocal and outspoken about it.

News flash: Unless these factions come together at least somewhat, Joe Biden will be re-elected, Not only will it require GOP unity to defeat him, it will also require some Democrats and a winning margin of independents. The first two of the four groups I discussed don't care at all about Democrat or Independents, or anyone who isn't totally loyal to Trump. The last (fourth) group doesn't care at all about Trump voters.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.  We're screwed.

SCOTUS and the Imbeciles - 7/1/2023

"The Supreme Court is racist against Black Americans!" Uh, no. The Supreme Court said that everyone has to be treated equally, that racial preferences, by their nature, are discriminatory against someone on the other side of the preference equation. Our country was founded on the words, "All men are created equal". Granted, it has taken us a long, long time to get here, but here we are. As they should, the court says, "Treat everyone equally."

"The Supreme Court discriminates against gay people". No they don't. They protected the right of people who prefer not to participate in publishing a website about or advocating for something against their wishes that conflicts with their religious beliefs. Of all the bakers who might decorate a cake, printers who might print your invitations, of all the web designers who can publish your website, don't go to one you know has religious objections to your content. Some religions have beliefs and practices with which some, perhaps nearly all of us, disagree. Practitioners of those religions have freedom of religion, freedom of speech. Frankly, it is clear to me that these businesses are being targeted because of their beliefs. Standards of tolerance and acceptance are being replaced with participate, advocate, and celebrate or face the consequences. Of 100 web designers, one objects to your content. As long as the other 99 are willing and able, you're not oppressed. You still want the one who objects to do it? You're not oppressed, you're an activist asshole.

"The Supreme Court made abortions illegal again." No they didn't. The Supreme Court said that abortion is not protected or addressed in the US Constitution, therefore it is a matter to be decided by the states. The ruling was NOT for or against abortion. It was simply, and correctly, asserting that the Federal government wasn't the appropriate place to render that determination.

"The Supreme Court screwed all the people with college loan debts by deciding the program was illegal." You believe that? Really? Seemingly, the college money you borrowed was wasted. You should have gone to a school that taught about the US Constitution and the separation of powers of the US Government. You know, that whole pesky Executive, Legislative, and Judicial thing. The court could give a rat's ass if we forgive the loans or not. The court simply and correctly asserted that the power to do so is NOT vested in the Executive Branch of government, but in the Legislature. The fact that our Senate and House of Representatives are nearly useless, and that our President thinks he's a king, not the Chief Executive, isn't a SCOTUS problem.

I'm exhausted by the number of uneducated and educated imbeciles who get totally righteous and indignant over all these awful SCOTUS decisions. Illiterate about the Constitution, uneducated about the branches of our government and the functions of each, absolutely certain the Supreme Court is the problem, and unwilling to even try to understand basic US civics, including the responsibilities and authorities of Federal and State government, these people unwittingly boast about their own ignorance and stupidity time and time again. There ARE ways to codify all of the above issues into law, some or all of: Amend the US Constitution, have Congress pass a constitutional law, and or passage of laws at the State level. You want it? Feel you should get it the right way via some shortcut. The easy way out often doesn't hold up to educated scrutiny. You're pissed anyway?

Imbecile.

It's a Free Country, SCOTUS and Racial Preference in College Admission - 6/29/2023

I absolutely believe the Supreme Court got it right today in making racial preferences for or against another group as a determining factor in college enrollment. This is a sword that cuts two ways, and rightfully so. In recent times, some races and minorities have been given preferential treatment, while at the same time others were discriminated against, all in the supposed interest of fairness. Some will argue that this latest decision is an abomination and unfair. I disagree.

In my opinion, fairness means equal opportunities for all. In a meritocracy, all who would attempt to get a certain job, enroll in a school, or purchase a home in a particular area ought to have a fair and equal opportunity as everyone else, regardless of their race, or the race of others with whom they might compete for that job, school, or home. If you have the best experience, skills, and training, then the job ought to be yours. If you have the best grades and entry test scores, then the school ought to admit you. If you have the money to buy a home, your color ought to be irrelevant. That's fairness in a meritocracy. It's fair to everybody.

Lately, though, what the left has been pushing is not equal opportunity, but instead something they call equity. With equity, making sure underrepresented races are moved to the front of the line, merit be damned, is the means to their desired end. I do understand that historically some races have been suppressed in employment, education, and place of residence as a result of prejudice. This was wrong, and today's ruling affirms that it is still wrong. This was not a victory FOR racial prejudice. It is a victory for fairness and equal opportunity for all races. I especially think of Asian Americans as being victimized by equity. The Asian-American subculture often places a premium on academics and learning in the family unit that translates to superior academic prowess and achievement. Why should they be penalized because some of us, perhaps many, do not place the same kind of emphasis and effort in academics in child rearing and child raising? My answer: they ought not.

To close, let me say: if there are two perfectly equal candidates for a job or for placement in a school, I do not object to preferential treatment in that case being given to the person from a group that is underrepresented. Not in the least. Perfectly equal candidates... otherwise the best qualified should get it, period.

Everybody deserves a chance. Everybody. Even Asian-Americans who read and study a lot. Don't like it? Read a book. Study a textbook. Improve yourself. Make the changes the right way. Be the change. We all can. It's a free country. Well, it used to be, anyway.

Hunter Biden "Distractions" I call BS- 6/24/2023

I am not falling for the distractions Democrats throw out there about Joe and Hunter Biden corruption. A real quick hitter to point out my take on the excuses:

"The fact that Hunter is a deadbeat dad, had a drug problem, and did business overseas same as the Trump kids did is in no way an indication that Joe Biden is corrupt. Shame on you for shaming Joe for his son's problems."

Uh, bullshit. The fact that Hunter had an addiction (drugs and sex, most likely) is no reflection on Joe? Joe left his classified documents within easy access to a person who would seem at a minimum susceptible to blackmail, not to mention that both aforementioned habits are expensive and would provide quite a motive to an addict badly in need if the addict were approached by foreign operatives looking for access to them. So don't tell me one has nothing to do with the other.

And to the parallel to the Trump kids, give me a break. Yeah, you hate them because they're Trumps. I get that. But the behavior and problems Hunter Biden is known to have are a night and day difference to Trump kids who to me appear to be incredibly capable in their own right.

"Nobody in the Biden Administration, nor Joe Biden himself, and none of Joe Biden's close associates were charged by any US Attorney, meanwhile Trump is up on charges left and right in multiple jurisdictions."

If crimes are swept under the rug, are they still illegal?

This proves our Justice Department is fair and impartial exactly how?

What do I believe?

I believe Joe Biden enriched himself and all his family via third party plausibly deniable deals. These deals were in Eastern Europe and in Asia. Joe's influence was sold, both during the Biden Administration where Joe was VP, and during the Trump Administration, when he was a logical, if not likely candidate for President himself.

I believe Merrick Garland is an extreme partisan and political operative. I do not believe for a second he is fair, impartial, or in search of truth and righteousness. Thank God he's not on the Supreme Court! Thank the devil that he's where he's at.

You Owe Us an Apology - 6/21/2023

John Durham testifies to Congress.

I heard just a little bit of John Durham's testimony before Congress today. These two things jump out at me and should make every single American mad, no matter what affiliation or political leaning you have. If they don't, you're probably stupid or just a person who's so partisan that your partisanship has corrupted your sense of right and wrong. Here goes:

1. At the time Crossfire Hurricane was opened in 2016 during the election campaign, there was no evidence of Trump Russia collusion possessed by any of the US intelligence or law enforcement agencies. NONE. There was no basis to open that investigation, or the subsequent Mueller investigation except dirty politics.

2. Those same intelligence and law enforcement agencies knew, they absolutely knew, that the Trump Russia collusion allegations were a hoax originated and perpetrated by Hillary Clinton and her campaign. Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Obama, and Biden all KNEW this was the case. It was documented in a memo they shared. This memo was kept from, withheld from, hidden from the Crossfire Hurricane and Mueller investigators.

Every single person who was party to that memo, no matter where that person sits or sat in our government, belongs in prison. All of them. No exceptions. And a whole bunch of you Trump-Russia collusion parrots, all of you out there, you owe us an apology. Your people, from Saint Obama down to the lowest scumbag in justice and intelligence, committed what in my opinion is an unforgivable sin, worse than Watergate, worse than January 6th, worse than any US political dirty trick in my lifetime, maybe ever in US history.

We're Screwed - 6/18/2023

I left the GOP in late 2014 or early 2015. I was absolutely fed up with being misled by Republicans and then once elected, left holding their bag while they capitulated time after time. They compromised with Democrats who never seem to compromise with them. As a result, I began to see Progressivism as meaning slow and steady erosion of conservative values and all things conservative.

I came back to the GOP in 2016 because I felt Trump would actually fight rather than capitulate. I have donated to his campaigns MANY times. By far more than to anyone else in my lifetime. Not even close.

 President Donald Trump

I was shocked by the Deep State, Democrats, media, and GOP’s behavior during Trump’s candidacy, presidency, and still am, to this day. I shouldn't have been shocked, but I admit I was. It was much worse than I imagined. Worse than Trump imagined, too, I bet.

I left the GOP again after 2022 after I saw them in inaction. They’re still not the fighters, or brawlers actually, that we need. They’re wimps. They suck. They’re as bad as Democrats, just bad different.

Trump was rendered largely ineffective in office. Not all his fault. He was. I said it. IDGAF. Not his fault. Crossfire Hurricane. Mueller. Even an impeachment because he dared to ask absolutely legitimate questions about then Vice President Biden's corruption in his dealings with Ukraine.

Even though I have come to believe everything I said in the preceding paragraphs is true, I again donated to Trump after each indictment, the one in NY and the one in FL. I hate the people out to get him, and clearly, they are out to get him at all costs. This starts at the top, from Biden and Garland. No amount of professing innocence and uninvolvement can convince me otherwise.

I support DeSantis (I live in FL) in 2024. I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

I believe if elected, Trump will again be ineffective. Nothing has changed with the Deep State, Democrats, media, and much of the GOP. They will collectively undermine and attack Trump at every turn. They’re all disgusting.

I also think DeSantis will face much of the same, but I don’t think DeSantis will crash the China shop like the bull Trump was and is. He will sidestep the same piles of doo doo that Trump trudges right through.

My Trump supporting friends will have nobody else. Not DeSantis, not anyone but Trump. Period. End sentence. End discussion. It is pointless to even talk to them about what Trump will face if re-elected, how he was thwarted for 4 years, or why I like DeSantis. It’s totally pointless.

I will probably rejoin the GOP so I can vote for DeSantis in the FL Primary, but nationally, Trump will win the nomination. Trump will win handily. It's not close. I'm not delusional in that regard.

Trump will lose the general. Again. Bigly this time. What my Trump supporting friends don’t get is how much so many people hate him. Democrats will set voting turnout records again. They'll come out in droves. On the other hand, some, perhaps many Republicans will stay home.

There is nothing you can say to the avid Trump people to get them to vote for someone else. There is nothing you can do to get some people to vote for Trump. Trump does has a vice grip. It is a giant, cast iron vice, and it is going to sink the GOP and conservatism on Election Day in Nov 2024.

Sadly, I feel as if there is NOTHING I can do. I am a conservative and I see the crash coming and I feel helpless. I hate the people in power. Trump won’t step aside and help us to beat them. Four more years of a stumbling, bumbling crook with dementia.

President Joe Biden, masked kneeler.
We’re screwed.

Pride Flags and Trans-Titties at the White House - 6/13/2023-2

LGBTQ+ Flag

Pride flags don't bother me. So what? Really. I won't lie though, when I drive by a house that has one on display, or when I see the equal sign decal or pride flag sticker on a car bumper, it does make me think to myself, "Why is it so important to advertise your sexual preference and gender identity and stuff?" Be who you are. Love who you love. Be happy. I'm good with that. Why is there so much calling for attention like this? That's the part I don't get. It's like either trolling for a partner or giving straight people the finger or something. I don't know. It kinda feels like a religion sometimes.

Pride flag flanked by Old Glory at the White House.

When I said Pride flags don't bother me, I meant it. They don't. And when I say I don't understand the need for displaying them, I mean it. I don't get it. But flying Pride flags with equal stature to the US Flag at the White House? No. Fuck that. It just simply isn't right, in my opinion. I'd say the same if it was the Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopal, Muslim, or any other religion's flag. I just don't get this. And it ain't because I don't want to see the Pride flag. It undermines Old Glory at the goddamned White House. It's bullshit, plain and simple.

Now you see em, now you don't.

Making matters worse, even more a mockery, were the topless trans activists on the White House lawn for the event. You've got your trans-man, "making a muscle" and proudly showing the scars where his titties were surgically removed, and the trans-woman, happily jiggling a real nice pair of nearly perfect fake tits. Hey, I'm a guy. I like titties. If we want to start having Titty Tuesdays on the White House Lawn, I'm all for it. Hell, let's make it mandatory in warm weather months! "Take out your titties for America!" Ridiculous you say? Yeah, it's ridiculous. So is this topless trans activist shit.

As far as me, and my personal opinion, there's a line between "I'm good with that," and "Are you people out of your fucking minds?" The Pride flag on display in equal stature with Old Glory and Ms. Trans Titties and Mr. Trans No Titty topless on the White House Lawn for an event? Over that line.

Sorry. Not sorry.

Quick Hitters on the New Trump Indictments - 6/13/2023

Regarding the 37 indictments charging President Trump:

It's hard to find unbiased and impartial commentary and analysis of these charges. Pundits, commentators, and analysts either hate Trump or they love him. There is no middle ground and their stances on Trump appear to me to uniformly and perfectly conform to their like or their dislike of Trump.

I heard John Soloman report yesterday and read from a standing order issued by Trump when he was President that was a blanket declassification of all documents he took home while he was President. I haven't seen, nor read it in its entirety myself, so I don't know it's scope and I am not qualified to comment on its validity. Unquestionably, though, the President of the United States has declassification authority that is NOT subject to some dipshit bureaucrat's determination, approval, or procedure.

If you haven't read the Espionage Act and the Presidential Records Act yourself, and instead you're relying on your biased commentator or analyst of choice, you probably don't know what in the hell you're talking about. Many times the comments and analysis we get cherry picks a sentence here and a phrase there totally out of context from the rest of the document. If you don't read it for yourself, and documents like these aren't easy to read at all, you may sound smart, but you ain't.

If you're listening to a pundit who opines that Trump kept this stuff to sell access to the Saidis, and you find yourself agreeing with him or her, you're an idiot.

This case won't be settled until the Supreme Court rules. Even after it does, people will claim they got it wrong, no matter how they rule on it.

Three Possibilities - 6/12/2023

Wow! Trump had a lot of documents.

With regard to the Trump classified documents indictments, there are three broad categories of Trump, two categories in the case of Biden, Pence, or H. Clinton, possessing classified documents in the manner these four are known to have had them. I think this is important context in which the Trump issue has to be viewed.

Because Trump had declassification authority, the first possibility is that he had indeed declassified them, and they still have the stamps marking them, but they were declassified. Similarly, even if classified, the ex-President has authority under the Presidential Records Act to possess many documents, INCLUDING classified docs. The genesis of this problem, as you may recall, was a dispute between a Trump hating bureaucrat in charge of Presidential Records, and Trump, a swamp hating politician. This category can't be applied to Biden, Pence, or Hillary. They weren't the President with declassification authority at the time.

I do believe it is very possible that some of the documents, or fear that some of the documents were Crossfire Hurricane documents that show government malfeasance in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax perpetrated by Hillary Clinton, her campaign, and some Deep State Justice and intelligence officials, were the true motive of the Justice Department's heavy handed handling of this case. Yes, it is very possible, even likely if you ask me, that they feared he held incriminating evidence or their own wrongdoing.

The second possibility is pure and simple carelessness. Documents collected up in the confusion surrounding departure from office and, in Trump's case, the White House. In Trump's case, the dispute in the preceding paragraph and Trump's always being in attack mode and never, ever admitting he is wrong, made simple resolution a non-starter.

Lastly, and I've seen some morons from the left allege this to be the case, he could have taken them to sell secrets to our enemies. No reasonable person believes this. If you believe it, it proves that when it comes to Trump, you have lost your ability to reason. The Espionage Act being brought up feeds this stupidity. Trump is not a foreign agent or traitorous spy. You think that he is? You are a fucking idiot.

I saw mention of a comment on the issue by former Congressman Barney Frank. He said words to the effect that there was no espionage or spying here. He's right. What is here is a combination of the first two: documents, admittedly disputed, that he was allowed to possess, and the second, carelessness compounded by his bellicosity and combativeness. In that regard, this is at least in part a Trump self-inflicted wound. On the other hand, to be fair to Trump, he is NOT being treated fairly or impartially, either. The old cliche, "just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me" is very much in play here.

We are off the rails here, friends. No, Trump is not a total innocent. But what he has done here differs from other high level and high visibility cases I alluded to. Trump is a former President of the United States. He is extremely popular with tens of millions of American people, nearly 100 million isn't too big a stretch. He is the leading candidate for the 2024 nomination. Merrick Garland, our Attorney General, works for his chief opponent, President Biden, who has been even more careless with classified documents himself, and had none of the declassification authority or protections of the Presidential Records Act from his tenure as a Senator and as Vice President. Most of Trump's best excuses and defenses with regard to these documents DO NOT APPLY to Joe Biden.

If you ask me, for the good of our country, Joe Biden ought to order Garland to stand down, and he ought to issue a blanket pardon to Trump, not only for these documents, but for January 6th, as well. He won't though. This is liberal, progressive, Democrat red meat. It's their political Nirvana. The puppet masters who make Joe dance and laugh and walk and talk know that. And they HATE Trump. They are blinded by hate. It prevents them from seeing what's best for our country.

You know what's not best for our country? Locking Trump up for this stuff. But if they can, they will. God help us.

What Irks Me About All This - 6/10/2023

In following all the reports and opinion pieces about the recent Trump indictments, there is one thing I hear said, repeatedly, by Trump haters, mostly, but not always coming from the left that makes my skin crawl.

"This goes to show you that nobody is above the law."

My response? "Fuck you and every single person who spouts this drivel, you disingenuous pieces of shit!"

Hillary Clinton had a server set up in her bathroom, completely outside the national security apparatus. The DOJ and FBI gave her the old slap on the wrist.

Hillary Clinton had her Blackberries destroyed with a hammer and used "bleach bit" to cleanse her computers of evidence. "Our" DOJ and FBI gave her a pass. Our DOJ and FBI? That's a bad joke.

Hillary Clinton's classified emails were found on Anthony Weiner's computer. For whatever reason, there was no Clinton indictment.

President Obama, Vice President Biden, and the National Security and Justice apparatus were briefed that the Trump-Russia Collusion scandal was a Hillary Clinton concocted political hit scam. They allowed Crossfire Hurricane and a Mueller investigation of Trump to go on for years.

In 2020 credible evidence of Biden pay for play activities in China, Ukraine, and elsewhere surfaced during the Presidential Campaign. Remember Tony Bobulinski? I do. The DOJ and FBI went so far as to conceal and cover it up.

In 2020 there was the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Our intelligence and law enforcement agencies helped to excuse it. "All the hallmarks of Russian Disinformation."

President Biden had classified documents all over the place. Remember? There was discovery after discovery. The investigation has, is, and will get kid gloves. Biden is on the right team.

Now surfaces documents showing the FBI has had credible informants saying he and Hunter collected $5 million apiece from Ukraine. Remember Hunter in emails found on his laptop bitching about having to give 1/2 his money to Joe? You don't? Well, start fucking paying attention. The FBI sat on this information.

So, look. Reading my papers this morning, the stuff looks really bad on Trump. I'm just being honest, and some of you won't like me saying so. It looks bad. But considering all of the foregoing, and considering that millions and millions of us know all of the above and more, our partisan political operative DOJ and FBI are taking us into dangerous and uncharted territory.

"This goes to show you, nobody is above the law." BULLSHIT! This goes to show you, our law enforcement apparatus at the highest levels is political, corrupt, and selective in how it treats Presidential candidates and Presidents. It stinks to high heaven, and I will not pretend it don't.

Trump documents: I simply can't get over the douchebag wearing a progressive, liberal mask. "I am biased and I am proud!"
The corruption starts with Joe Biden, flows through Merrick Garland, includes Christopher Wray and a whole host of others. "Nobody is above the law" is a big lie.

Trump Document Indictment(s) - 6/9/2023

File this under: "Nothing good can come from it."
People who have no idea what the rules are regarding classification and declassification of documents are acting as if they speak with authoritaty on the subject. Not surprisingly, instead of speaking from actual authority, they speak from their bias. But in the end, it will be the Supreme Court of the United States that is the only authoritative voice that matters. Don't let your television know it all of choice, speaking directly to your own bias, fool you. They are speaking to your echo chamber, not to truth. Sure, it feels good when someone speaks to my bias. I bet it feels good to you when they speak to yours, too. Well, just because it feels good don't make it right, not by any measure when it comes to this kind of technical, legal stuff. There are really just three simple questions in this matter. Setting aside my own biases and trying to be objective, these are the questions.

1. Is the President of the United States the ultimate declassification authority, and is his or her declassification authority subject to bureaucratic processes and the approval or disapproval of subordinate bureaucrats?

2. Did President Trump de-classify the documents in question or not?

3. If there is or was wrongdoing, i.e. if the docs in question were NOT declassified, are the charges proportional and appropriate to the offense?

To me, those are the legal questions.

The fact that Trump is an asshole is a given. The fact that he was arrogant and combative in his handling of this stuff is perfectly in keeping with who he is. He is a belligerent, bellicose jerk. What else would you expect?

The fact that the Deep State, Biden Administration, media, establishment politicos and D.C. elites hate Trump and see no possibility other than he is a criminal guilty evil despot in every single thing he does is also a given. Trump's most vocal detractors can't see clear to see even a possibility he is in the right and innocent.

I don't think these indictments are good for our country. That is for another day.

For today, it will come down to the three questions I listed earlier. I do have my thoughts on what this means for our country, for the GOP, and future Democratic politicians once the pendulum swings the other way. For today I'm just going to leave it at: The know it alls on TV don't know squat. They really don't. Now go ahead and get back to listening to whoever speaks to your bias and feel good. Then be mad as hell if the Supreme Court doesn't see it your way.

They're Wacko, Most of 'Em, Anyways - 6/5/2023

These people are wacko. I mean, really, they're nucking futs!

The Trump people don't give a shit about winning in 2024. To them it's either Trump or it don't matter. Anyone who supports someone else, literally anyone else, is a disloyal traitor.

Meanwhile lefty people call every single thing they disagree with racism or fascism or some other bullshit "ism". So all of us who disagree with them are racist, fascist, or phobes of some one group or another. This line of bullshit is getting old, but is still mainstream.

Republicans are in a civil war. There are reasonable people, but "Trump only" and "never-Trump" are the amplified voices. Both groups would rather throw 2024 to Joe Biden than to compromise. Both groups are dumbasses.

Democrats appear to be running a guy who was too old then and who is aging and deteriorating at lightning speed now. Since all his opponents are racists, fascists, etc., they are Sergeant Schultz on the issue of geezer Biden. They know nothing! Do normal Democrats (I know some of you disagree, but I believe they really do exist) think Joe Biden is up to the task and doing a good job, or are you just so happy it isn't Trump that you don't give a shit about immigration, the economy, etc., etc.?

Does anyone in the GOP really think Ronna McDaniel is doing a good job as its Chair? Really?

Democrats seem to have fully embraced SEC football's motto: "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'." They'll tell you voter fraud doesn't exist or make a difference. They'll also tell you Biden is doing a good job, so...

I don't know. I don't get it. Most of 'em are wacko, but who am I?  I'm nuthin' but a disloyal traitor, racist, fascist, phobophobe.

The Durham Report, The Morons Are Out - 5/16/2023

The Durham Report came out yesterday. So did the morons.
Eventually I'll read the Durham Report. I was busy with family stuff yesterday, and when news of its release hit, I was in the middle of a long day of driving. I did get to see social media reaction to it. Holy shit! It brought the morons out!

I did read an excerpt or two. I'll get directly to that, but first, let me point out a couple of things we already knew. Well, many of us did. Those of you who trusted the NY Times, Washington Post, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and MSNBC for factual information from 2015 to 2023, well you might not. You were joyfully and willingly duped. You are dupes. Yeah, you are. But a lot of us do know these things. For example, there was a Horowitz Report a couple of years ago. Horowitz was the DOJ's Inspector General. His report said that there was no adequate predicate to open up the investigation the FBI and DOJ called Crossfire Hurricane, which investigated alleged Trump Russia collusion. In other words, there wasn't ample evidence in the first place to initiate the investigation which ultimately led to the Mueller investigation, a political witch hunt designed by the Deep State to thwart the Trump presidency and agenda. Of course, some of you fucking dupes never understood any of that because you hate Trump and get all your news from the massive anti-Trump echo chamber. You were duped and you loved it. All the false allegations were lube for your 6 year anti-Trump circle-jerk.

John  Durham's Report goes two steps further. Two important steps. Now, follow the bouncing ball, dupes. Because where you get your information, you may not get this. Durham's investigation found that not only was there no Trump Russia collusion, but that Trump Russia collusion was a hoax perpetrated by Hillary Clinton and her campaign. Our President, Barack Obama, was briefed on this in July of 2016. Do you get it yet? July of 2016 was the very genesis of the Trump Russia collusion hoax. Hillary Clinton paid operatives to fabricate the hoax. Other circumstantial but never substantial evidence, like Manifort's ties to and contacts with a Russian were touted as "the goods". Adam Schiff swore he'd seen the evidence.

There was no fucking evidence. They knew the whole time that the Trump Russia hoax was perpetrated that it was a Hillary Clinton scheme to steal the presidency. Donald Trump was elected anyway, mostly because Hillary is one of then most detestable personalities on this earth. Trump got into office in January of 2017 and then the Deep State went to work. DOJ, CIA, and FBI leadership who KNEW that Trump Russia collusion was a Hillary Clinton campaign financed fabrication opened the Mueller Investigation. Mueller's investigation, aided by dishonest media and former CIA annd FBI Deep State bad actors cast a cloud over Trump, and had a huge impact on the 2018 Mid-Term elections.

What was done from 2016-2019 by Deep State and US Government bad actors and their accomplices in the media, was a thousand times worse than Watergate. You read that right. It was way worse than Watergate, not even close. Our entire national criminal justice and intelligence apparatus was weaponized to undermine and neutralize the sitting President of the United States. If this was Watergate, Hillary Clinton and Marc Elias would have been investigated in 2017 to 2019, not Trump. Instead, the weaponized US agencies used what it knew was a hoax to neutralize a President they despised.

The same Deep State bad actors were still fucking Trump over with their lies when 51 of the lying pieces of shit signed the famous "hallmarks of Russian disinformation" letter regarding the Hunter Biden laptop, which cost Trump the 2020 election. Yes, I realize Trump made plenty of missteps himself, but polling showed that if the true story about the laptop had been known in October and November of 2020, enough voeters would have been influenced that Trump would have won.

The morons. I forgot to mention the morons. May I mention the morons? The fucking morons are out. And they cite, again and again, the same phony evidence we already know was made up by Hillary or which was totally circumstantial in nature as proof of Trump-Russia collusion still. The morons can't be talked to, either. They "know". What the fuck do they know? They know the lies they were told and are deep in moron denial.

The most deeply disturbing part of all this treasonous, seditious type activity is that nobody will go to jail for it. Hillary Clinton will remain free. Obama, Biden, Clapper, Brennan, Comey, and Mueller's team of political operatives and hit men will remain free. Where are the handcuffs? Some people need to be in jail. Unfortunately, our government is so far gone, so deeply corrupted and owned by the Deep State, that will simply not happen. Nobody will be punished. Nobody will be held accountable. Nobody will be made to account for their crimes. The Durham report apparently doesn't recommend arrests or prosecutions. That is some weak sauce, Mr. Durham. Weak sauce indeed.

I feel better, but not much better.

People Are Not Illegal? - 5/13/2023

Calling them "illegal aliens"? is somehow offensive. A common retort these days is the defiant: "People are not illegal!"

When the come here illegally, what are they then, lady?

If a person robs a bank, are they not called a "bank robber"?

If a person steals a car, are they not called a "car thief"?

If a person rapes someone, are they not called a "rapist"?

If a person cheats on their taxes, are they not called a "tax cheat"?

If a person enters property they're not supposed to, are they not called a "trespasser"?

But somehow, foreign nationals, aka aliens, who cross our border and enter the US illegally, can't be called "illegal aliens"?

How fucking stupid do they think we are?

My Issues With Wokism - 5/12/2023

There was a time when the word "woke" was used differently. I'm not referring to usage as in, "I woke up at 7:15 to get ready for work," which would seem to be the traditional, textbook use of 'woke'. What I'm referring to came about in the 60's or 70's, I guess, around the time of, or soon after Civil Rights legislation of the mid-60's was put into effect. At that time, 'woke' was used, mostly by Black people, to express that they were aware what racism and prejudice are, and they weren't any longer going to look the other way when they see it and recognize it. When someone at that time said they were woke, what they were saying is that they were going to call a spade a spade (no racial pejorative intended or alluded to in the use of that cliche to describe what can also be described as 'calling it like I see it'). That's where woke entered into the conversation in a different context than getting up for work.

Today, 'woke' has taken on a much broader context. It starts with another phrase today: 'intersectionality'. This right of center opinion writer's take on intersectionality is that it refers to a collective alliance between diverse groups with leftward leanings on many issues. And before I delve into that, I'll start by pointing out that 'woke' is now used by anyone who's aligned and actively willing to speak out on all, some, or any of the issues of the left. Within the intersectionality concept there's a "Three Musketeers" kind of 'one for all and all for one' thing going on. What makes me, as a right of center guy, most uncomfortable with 'woke' as used in this intersectional context, is that for each and every one of the issues, the drivers and agenda pushers are at the left edge of the spectrum, the activists, not just left leaners. It seems the further from the center, the louder and more assertive the voices become. The far right has the same thing going on, but we don't have the same kind of nearly formal multi-issue alliance the left has built on the intersectionality foundation.

So for me, 'woke' has become a pejorative. It's a circle-jerk of the furthest left activism on a whole range of issues. It's wrong for me to characterize the whole of the left by its extreme parts? Blame intersectionality and the chorus of the loudest voices on the left that dominate what little dialogue there is out there. The right does the same thing you say? Well, maybe so. I'll take one issue as an example. January 6th. I have from the beginning BEFORE January 6, 2021 that holding a demonstration or protest on that day was one of those 'nothing good can come from it' deals. The protest ought to have been on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th, NOT on the day the Electoral College was set to vote. That being said, I had, and continue to have, my own concerns about the conduct of the 2020 Presidential Election. Recent revelations about the CIA's meddling have only strengthened my doubts. Many of the protesters in D.C. have similar concerns. We are not all insurrectionists. They were not all insurrectionists. Far from it. But that is the portrayal and that is the narrative used by nearly the entirety of the left when it comes to January 6th. The whole of the right lumped in with the extreme of the right (and a whole lot of US Government agitators and undercover entrappers).

I think the difference between the right and the left is the intersectional alliance on the left. It kind of reminds me of some of the worst aspects of a unionized workforce. While the union is for the good of the overall workforce, sometimes the tactics make members uncomfortable. "Our representation said what?" But, by and large the membership says nothing, because the collective is it's strength for the individual, and it's better to look the other way sometimes, because the same people are bringing better working conditions, wages, and benefits to the group. So what if we all agree the employee was in the wrong and deserved to be fired? If me or any other members get sideways with the company, won't we want to same fighters in our corner? You bet we will. So while the woke people are pushing for something stupid like allowing biological men who identify as women to destroy women's sports and undermine real women, the rest of the left is silent and complacent. After all, their pet issue requires the same unity. What's funny is how aghast they seem to be when the regular people who aren't activist and aren't woke at once and in unison say, "What the fuck?" I'm thinking Bud Lite and Dylan Mulvaney, for example. How could they have not seen the backlash coming? I mean, really.

One last thought about wokeness. There seems to me to be an unspoken other side of the coin. "We are woke. We are enlightened. We are educated. We understand. We have the answers." I'm not woke. That leaves me asleep, unenlightened, uneducated, lacking understanding, and without legitimate answers. Woke is at once a claim to the territory of logical thought and righteousness, and at the same time a dismissal of dissenting persons and their opinions. It is a sidestep of dialogue and debate. Because we're uninformed, misinformed, and unenlightened, ya know. Well, I'm not going to be dismissed that simply and easily. They may be woke, but I'm not sleepwalking through life. I have my eyes wide open.

Hump Day Quick Hitters - 5/10/2023

Happy hump day! I don't work, so it's more your hump day than mine. Here are some quick hitters for hump day, May 10th:

1. Title 42 is ending at midnight tomorrow night. The whole thing is a tragic failure from almost every perspective. First of all, Title 42 shouldn't have a damned thing to do with what's going on at the border. If our elected government in Washington did its job, immigration would be reformed. We'd have near total control of our border, and an ample number of well vetted, able bodied immigrants coming in to grow our economy. But, no. We have a clusterfuck of the highest magnitude. Our government is a joke and immigration reform, lack thereof, is its single biggest failure. Remember when President Biden put Vice President Harris in charge of the border? She sure seems to be steering clear of it altogether these days. Immigration is a turd. You know what's the problem with a turd? A turd has no clean end from which to pick it up. So nobody will touch it. Trump tried, but he was thwarted at every turn and called every name in the book for doing so.

2. Speaking of Trump, he's an asshole. That's a given. While I don't think it is possible for him to get a fair shake in a court of law in many jurisdictions in our country nowadays, I do think he brought a lot of the problem upon himself with his big mouth. I don't believe Ms. Carroll, not at all. Trump is still an asshole, but I believe Ms. Carroll is a liar. The case reminds me very much of the Justice Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings a few years ago. Eerily.

3. Tucker Carlson is taking his show to Twitter. I like Carlson. He was the only one on FoxNews I would watch, and even that was rarely. Lefties in media are beside themselves that Elon Musk will allow Carlson to have a platform. Because lefties in the media simply don't care about free speech. They care about propagandizing, that's all.

4. The CIA and FBI meddled in the 2020 election. Through their actions, Trump was defeated. Lefties completely ignore what was done. The things that were done to Trump, starting in 2016, through his presidency, in 2020, and to this day, are a disgusting display of abuse of power by the deep state. If this stuff had been done and was being done to Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, of Joe Biden, the same people who think this is all good would have been rioting in the streets. Does this sound like you? You know it does. You know who you are. Fuck you.

5. Most of the "Trump only" people on Twitter I come across are fucking morons and assholes. I like DeSantis better. That's my right. Trump has too much baggage. He will be even more ineffective and even older in 2025-2029. Time for a new face.
